The Pruning Season May Be Painful, But It’s Always Worth It

You may find it hard to overcome the situation that you are in, but always remember that the process is always worth it in the end. Maybe you start to wonder why you need to go through challenges in life, but God wants you to bear fruit that will last forever. And before He can give you the great blessings that He prepared, He needs to prune you first and clear out the branches that will hinder you from experiencing the fullness of His presence. So be patient and learn to endure. God will not do something that will destroy your life in the end. He wants you to prosper, so keep the faith and never give up.

God wants to purify your heart. And for Him to do it, He will let you deal the deepest pain inside so that He can fully heal your wounds. You will face the things that you tried to ignore before. He will let you revisit those moments when you truly feel so broken, and from there, God will begin the healing. You will feel the pain again. Sometimes, you will see yourself struggling. But trust that in those moments, God will always be there to give you enough strength. God will open your eyes, and as you go back and face your past, He will let you see His hands moving in the midst. And only then will you realize that God never leaves your side.

Someday, you will learn to understand the things that God is doing in your heart. You may find it hard to comprehend why you need to experience pain again, but one day, you will see the changes that God is doing in your life. When you see the fruits of everything that you’ve been through, you will know that behind the pain that God allowed you to experience are great blessings that He wanted you to receive. So hold on, and do not focus on the pain. Acknowledge it, but never let yourself be consumed with the negative things you encounter. Remind yourself that you are growing in God’s presence.

The pruning is always challenging. You will begin to ask a lot of questions, your faith will be tested, and it feels like you are in the middle of the wilderness. But just go through it because God will always be there to sustain you. He will not give you something that you can’t overcome. He knows what you can do, and He believes in you. So fight the good fight of faith and choose to trust in God with all your heart.
