Your calling is different from others. He will mold you differently than the others. That is because God knows the best things for you. The things that you have to go through aren’t punishment. The tears you’ve cried, the opportunities you’ve met, and the things you’ve lost are part of the journey of changing your heart to become a better version of yourself. He will sometimes let things happen according to His own time. Such times aren’t that easy for you to understand. It may not be accepted initially, but believe that everything will be okay. Keep in mind that He allow certain things to happen for a purpose.
The pain that you have to undergo will teach you how to depend more on Him. You might get hurt along the way, but remember that the healer is with you. No one can expect everything to be good in this life, but God will give the assurance that everything will be. Your storms are there for Him to reveal Himself to you and provide the strength only Him can give. He will give you the knowledge and wisdom to go through that rough journey as long as you depend more on Him.
Do not lose yourself along the way. Instead, find yourself constantly in His presence. He knows your real identity and character. Your journey will help you shape and mold your heart and mind. The journey might be tough, but nothing is too big for Him. Conquering the storms can only be done if you pass through them. So don’t try to run away from it. Instead, run to Him, who can reveal the victory behind that raging pressure. Winning against your storm does not only reveal more about you but the One that lives inside you. When you rest in Him and define yourself through Him, you will never be the person who hates himself.
When God changes you, it does not happen in an instant. A process has to take place. That is why be patient during your storms in life.
