The thorns are there to reveal how God’s grace moves in your life

The thorns in your life are not always meant to be removed just so you can feel less pain than they should. Its purpose is not just to reveal your strength and endurance in things, but it goes further than that. It will show its purpose, especially when everything seems complicated and challenging. It reveals its actual color in moments of doubt and regret. It is there to tell and show you that God’s grace is all over you and that He never leaves you.

His grace is there to sustain you even though everything in your life looks like it’s crumbling down. Thorns are vessels to see and realize that life was not meant just to be lived according to your own liking. Your life is meant to be lived through Him, who created you and who makes all things happen.

You need to align your plans to His ways. God blessed you not just because you earnestly prayed for it but because He can provide. His love for you encompasses everything. His grace surrounds you and is waiting for you to recognize its ability and purpose. You may feel alone in your own desert now, but the real thing is that many things are unseen that you can always believe in. So, pause and focus on the moment you are in now. Realize and feel the life and breath that you freely have, and you will know that miracles and grace just don’t work in grand gestures, but they are most of the time felt and lived by choice. So, choose the things that will work for a long time and treasure them.

Your pain isn’t there just to remind you that you are still alive, but it is there to tell you that His grace and healing are possible and could happen to you. Your doubts are not there to think of yourself or your worth, but they are there to remind you that God can shower with wisdom to make the right decisions and guide you through it. Your thorns are not just there to be pulled out, but they will remind you that the more painful your experiences be, the more breakthroughs you will experience. That is not just because you endured it well but because you’ve seen how big God could be and how His grace moved your life no matter how unloved you have felt. How he moves will remind you that His grace is more significant than the shouts of the enemy in your life.

No matter what you are going through, always believe that you are surrounded by His grace. He can do all things. Remind yourself of His greatness and love, not just the pain and brokenness you feel. Remind yourself of how He can miraculously move. Sing Him praises and choose to worship Him, especially when you start to doubt everything. Choose to count the things He blessed you and not just the pain that came. Let that thorn remind you that God is more significant than anything else you have. He is always with you. He will soon restore your life.
