There Are Certain Changes In Your Life That Only You Can Make
Personal change is a choice. Other people may encourage you to improve yourself and do something outside of your comfort zone, but no matter how much they try to motivate you, there’s nothing they can do to change yourself. Because at the end of the day, you need to personally commit to it. That important decision is something that only you can make. No one else can do it for you. So if you wanted to live a better life, then you need to make a decision. People can give you the support you need, but remember that it’s always a personal battle. You can’t let others join you because it’s your life, and you always have the freedom to do the things you want.
It’s not going to be easy. There are moments when your principles in life will be tested. You will encounter situations that will either break or build your strength. Your commitment will also be challenged by the people around you. The circumstances that you face will allow you to either change yourself or do the same thing over and over again. But remember that you can always ask for God’s love. You may find yourself so helpless along the journey, but choose to call the name of God, and He will be there to give you enough strength.
You need to believe in your identity in the Lord. When God says that you are important and treasured in His eyes, then choose to put it inside your heart. Hold on to His words and listen to Him rather than entertaining the lies of the enemy. You may find it difficult to treat yourself as someone who is accepted and loved, but know that it’s the truth and there’s nothing that you can do about it. God sees you differently. He believes in you, and He knows that you can make it.
God’s love can change you, but you need to choose Him more than the fears you feel inside. Yes, He can transform your life, but He also gives you the freedom to make choices. Everything is up to you. God will never force you to change. You will go through the process, and you will encounter setbacks in life. He will do everything just for you to feel His presence and appreciate His ways, but He will never force you to love Him. He will just wait until you are ready to accept Him with all your heart.
