There Are Days When You Just Can’t Understand Yourself

If you find yourself so confused with what’s happening inside, then know that you are not alone. There are really days in life when you just can’t understand yourself. Accept the truth that you are also human, and you have the right to acknowledge your emotions. If you can’t understand yourself, then it’s okay. Someday, when you are ready, you will be able to accept the things that you can’t comprehend in the present. Just don’t condemn and punish yourself because you failed to understand what is happening on the inside.

It’s okay to feel that way. Just learn to embrace yourself even if you can’t understand anything. Go on with your life and if you feel tired, then learn to rest. Be patient and always choose to love yourself. Stop asking questions that you just can’t answer for now. Just go on and relax. One day, when you get to face enough experiences, you will learn many things about yourself. But for now, just give yourself the time to process and learn to wait until you are ready to move and take the next step.

Don’t force yourself to do the things that you can’t still manage. Stop putting too much pressure on yourself. Remember that you are not a robot. And sometimes, you really need to dig in first so that you will learn to face the roots of your problems. There are specific memories in your past that you wanted to forget, but then deep inside, you just can’t do it because those memories are part of your life. And you need to have the courage to face all of it. So if you can’t do it now, then it’s okay. One day, you will have enough strength to overcome all your fears.

The love of God will always be there to transform your heart. You may not understand yourself sometimes, but He knows everything that’s going on. So learn to surrender your life to Him, for He knows the best thing to do. You don’t have to worry because you are always safe in His arms. Just learn to trust Him. Believe that God loves you so much and He is the only one who can help you. He is just waiting for your heart to open so that He can come in and make you whole again.
