There is Power in your Tears

It’s hard to deal with things that you can’t see. I wish we had the right lens to magnify the real things inside. The wounds in our hearts. The past that we can’t forget. The traumas we’ve been through. The pain that we can’t let go. All those things are invisible. We can’t physically touch or see them, but they are real. Sometimes, they are more real than the victories you experienced in life. They are bigger than the excitement that you have for the future. The tears are more evident than the smile and laughter. But even if, most of the time, the reason for your tears is so painful, still, there is power behind them. There are blessings behind the droplets that flow down through your cheeks. Hold on because God will turn them into priceless treasures.

Don’t hide away your tears because it will strengthen you in the end. The time will come when you will no longer shed those tears for the same reason. You will learn to step up and mature in the arms of God. After that season, you will thank Him for allowing you to grow. You will soon be empowered to deal with certain pain because God’s love taught you how to get up and try again. In the end, the tears were the source of your strength. You won’t see it now, but soon, you will appreciate everything God is doing behind the scenes. You will turn that pain into a hymn of worship that testifies to God’s goodness.

Your tears will teach you how to be compassionate to others. It will push you to extend yourself so that others may receive the comfort that God gave you. It will give you the courage to love others how God loved and accepted you. Just lean closer to the heart of your Creator and watch as He slowly turns things around. He will lead you to the light. The crack in your heart is where His light will come in. Your wounds will never be wasted. God will turn them into a glimpse of hope others can hold on to. Your story will not end here. Soon, God will let you share your story with those who are broken and struggling.

Pour out everything to God. Let Him wipe away your tears. Believe that He will never take them for granted. Angels are collecting them. You may not always understand why the tears can’t stop falling, but cry everything to your Heavenly Father. Accept what happened. Acknowledge what you feel. Lay down all your burdens to God, and He will turn your tears into blessings. You will then realize how powerful He is when you see what He did behind the pain you are carrying.
