There’s a Blessing Behind Every Season of Emptiness

Have you ever experienced a point in your life where you feel so empty inside? You are carrying so many burdens, but you find yourself floating inside your imagination. You wanted to escape from the painful realities of life. You can’t find the courage to face your battles. You are lost and hopeless. It seems like you will reach the peak of emptiness where there is no life and dreams are shattered. You don’t have any clue about what to do next, and the sad part is that your life is so meaningless. All your strengths are gone, and you are so afraid to take another step. You’ve given everything that life demands of you, and now, you are left with nothing. That very difficult season may be hard to overcome, but behind the negative things you feel, are blessings that you can take with you even through eternity.

The emptiness inside will teach you how to trust in God. It’s the time when you will realize how much you need Him. It’s like God is telling you how important He is in your life. He needs to do this because, in times of abundance and victory, there is a tendency that you will think you can sustain yourself. But when trials come, you will see how fragile and vulnerable you are. And that’s when you’ll learn to seek His presence. The longing inside will lead you to depend on God’s blessings and provision. You need Him to overcome the storms in your life, and when you feel like there’s nothing that you can hide, that’s the time when He will prove to you the wonders of His love.

Take heart because you will grow after that season. You won’t physically see the changes for now, but when you walk on a new path, you will realize that you slowly learn to understand things according to a wider perspective. The temptations that can easily distract you before will no longer disturb your life. Instead, you will focus on the important matters that affect your relationship with God. You will learn to fight the right battle. You will live according to His purpose.

You won’t learn to treasure the blessings of God if you never experience moments of emptiness. Maybe you will still trust your own instincts, and you will never witness His miracles in your life. So instead of focusing on the negative things that happen to you, why not seek God and allow Him to quench the thirst inside. Let Him fill your heart with His love, and you will find satisfaction in His arms. The trials of this life will drain you, but as long as you lean on God’s shoulders, you will always be filled with enough grace and strength.

This is exactly how I experience today. I can not believe that there were be a day I no longer be the same as the way I am and the people I taught I can trust can turn their back, and at this time, I learn to trust in God. I knew I am going to fail, but it is through his grace and strength that I was able to survive. I grew without a father figure, and no proper support and with great low self esteem, and keep trying to push myself, until the time, I am totally lost and suddenly empty, that I could give up. That is the time, I learn to trust, but not on my own instincs and stregths. It is true life trials come to make me look fragile and vulnerable and drain me, but when I have God’s shoulders, I will be filled with enough strength and grace then I must fill my heart with His love AMEN💙💙💙.
