Think of God’s Grace instead of your Mistakes
The right mindset will keep you moving. You may commit terrible things in life, but that doesn’t mean there’s no hope left. God’s forgiveness and mercy are still available. Accept the truth that God loves you so much. He allowed His only begotten Son to come here on earth to save and forgive you. Open your heart and ask for forgiveness. Change the way you see God and yourself. Only then will you live every single day without guilt, shame, or regrets. Most of the time, people tend to stop living the moment they commit mistakes. Please give yourself a chance to experience true life again. Acknowledge God’s goodness in your life and remember what Jesus did on the cross. He wanted you to come back and start again. He wants to walk with you and guide you along the way.
Focus on God’s goodness. It would be very hard for you to experience breakthroughs if you will keep on condemning yourself. You are meant to learn from those mistakes. Don’t embrace them as if they are part of your identity. You are not your mistakes. You are still learning and growing in the presence of God. So instead of looking at your weaknesses, try your best to appreciate the good things that God did. Focus on the testimony that He is writing for you. Patiently abide in His ways, and stop doing things on your own. Treat Him as your King and acknowledge His authority in your life. Submit to His power, and you will always be guided.
God’s grace surrounds you. He is doing incredible things behind the scene. You just have to learn how to appreciate Him. Don’t waste the blood of Jesus. Let His sacrifice remind you of His great love and mercy. Let His wounds and scars lead you to receive His great love. Let His faithfulness motivate you to do the right thing. He already gave you what you need to overcome the mistakes you committed. Yes, you can grieve over the things and people that you lost, but after that, humbly walk again with Him. Shame may try to hinder you from coming to your Savior. But let His grace give you a reason to start again.
Repent, and you will be forgiven. Receive the salvation that Jesus offered on the cross. And let His mercy lead you to change your wrong mindset. Align your ways and thoughts with Him. Change your mind and redirect it to the plans of God. From then on, consult and ask for His guidance before you start your day. Rely on His power and stop looking at your own strength. Let His forgiveness inspire you to move forward and slowly make changes in your life.
