To the One who chose to walk with me in my Darkest Days

The word “thank you” is not enough for me to express how grateful I am for the things you did in my life. In moments when I couldn’t understand, you chose to stay and walked with me along the journey. When I blamed myself, you were always there to remind me of God’s great mercy. I never thought that I could make it through. It was a heart-breaking season, and I even told God that I wanted to give up. But despite what I felt, you persistently held my hands and chose to stay with me during those days.

Thank you for your life. Thank you for allowing God to use you as His vessel. Because of your kindness, I slowly learned to love myself. You showed me what it means to be a true friend. Even if you are also going through some battles and pain, still you never hesitate to help me with my needs. I became so selfish, and I always think of my own wounds, but there you are, you chose to set aside your own problems and walked with me instead.

Because of your life, I realized that I am not alone. Your presence made me feel the hands of God even in the midst of pain. You became a powerful reminder for me to live a meaningful life and keep moving. What you did to me will never be in vain. Your love and patience made me learn one of the important lessons in life. I discovered that God didn’t just let me live on my own. I need to stop thinking of my selfish desires. Instead, just like you, I must also learn to serve and love others.

Your genuine help and care pushed me to share my blessings with those who are in need. Your powerful testimony opened my eyes to the miracles that God can do. I didn’t expect that He would use someone like you to remind me who He truly is. I had so many friends before, but it’s you who chose to stay. And what you did become a message of hope to me.

It’s not easy to carry your own cross and at the same time, follow Jesus. But you made it. I also saw you struggling, but behind your tears are big smiles that say, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” You also shared to me your pain, but even if I know that you are walking on a very challenging path, you still chose to stay with me.

God used your courage to remind me that there is still hope in life. He used your faith to empower me to believe in His promises. You are such an inspiration. And the more I see your struggles, the more I realize who God is in your life. It’s weird because I saw all your weaknesses, yet God’s strength is more evident. And I find it so amazing.

I know that I’m so blessed because I have you. Remember that all the efforts and help you gave me will surely turn into fruits that will also bless somebody. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Thank you because you listened to God, and you chose to serve Him. One day, I’ll be able to extend to others the love that you gave to me. When the time is right, and when I’m ready, I’ll be able to also help someone just like what you did to me. Please continue to walk in God’s presence. Keep on loving and serving others.

Your efforts and tears are not in vain.
