To those who Always Receive Painful words from the People they Love

I may not know the status of your heart right now. You may feel in pain because of the things that you experienced. But always remember that only God knows your true identity. The people around you don’t have any idea about the things that you are going through. They may release painful words that truly break your heart, but remember that nobody can destroy you as long as you choose to listen to God. You are His child, and He knows you from the inside out. So focus on Him and just surrender what you feel in His presence. He will heal your heart and give you the courage to move forward. One day, He will teach you how to forgive those people who caused you pain.

Hearing painful words from the people you love is truly heartbreaking. I know that it’s not easy to deal with it. The people who should’ve encourage and lift you up did the opposite thing. That’s why you can’t help but feel so disappointed. You think that you are not enough and you need to be somebody else just for you to get their approval. You may wonder why you need to go through that season, but remember that God loves you for who you are. He is doing something wonderful behind the scene. Just trust Him, and He will be the one who will show to the people around you who you truly are.

Remind yourself about your true identity in the Lord. You are worthy and loved. He hears your heart, and He knows what’s going on. He is not blind nor deaf. He is moving. Maybe you can’t feel Him, but behind the negative things you feel is the opportunity for you to trust Him even more. Never allow the words of other people to change the way you see things. Know that you are so important in the eyes of God, and He prepared greater things for you. Just treat Him as your friend. Release to Him all the painful words you received from the people you love, and He will give you strength to keep going.

God will walk with you along the healing process. He will never leave you alone. Know that He is holding your hands, and He will keep on pushing you to move forward. Just keep on listening to Him instead of the people around you. Set your eyes on His promises, and soon, you will receive all of them. You are created to experiences the fullness of this life. Just stay in His presence and choose to put your trust in Him.
