Unexpected Detours are Sometimes Wake-Up Calls
You will never know what’s ahead. There are times when God will allow you to take unexpected detours, not to hurt or disappoint you, but to help you see the truth behind your situation. It’s not actually a hindrance to your success. But it’s the perfect moment for you to learn the most important things in life. When you are too occupied by your own emotions, you can’t help but be blinded by what you are doing. There are aspects that you fail to consider. That’s why God needs to do something to lead you back on track. So if you can’t understand what’s going on in your life right now, then it’s time for you to call upon the name of God and ask for help. Open your heart for His love, and you will discover the purpose why you need to go through that season.
It’s time for you to wake-up. Maybe you are trying to avoid things, and you think that you are heading in the right direction. But if God did something to help you see the truth, then it means that you need to seriously deal with it because it might lead you to greater pain. Face your fears. Be humble and accept God’s correction. Know that He only corrects the people He loves, and that includes you. So embrace the lesson that He wanted you to learn in this season. Yes, it’s not easy, but God needs to get your attention so that you will learn to move and take action.
God cares for you. He only wants you to experience the best things in life. He knows what’s ahead, so trust in His ways. The situation around you may appear so messy, but behind every hardship you experience is an opportunity for you to grow in His presence. Keep your faith and depend on His goodness. He loves you so much. That means He will never abandon you, and His plans are greater than what you have in mind. You may not understand everything, but you can always choose to believe in His promises.
One day, you will thank God for the unexpected detours. You will realize that the most heartbreaking moment of your life led you to know Him more. You will never be who you are right now if not because of the circumstances He allowed you to experience. At the end of the day, God is your loving Father, and He will do everything just to lead you on the right path.
