Unhealed Wounds will Sometimes hinder you from receiving God’s blessings
It’s okay if you still feel in pain. But what’s important is you choose to surrender your wounds in the presence of God. Don’t carry everything on your own. God is waiting for you to come in His presence and walk along His healing process. You need to face it with Him because if you don’t allow Him to take over, you will surely miss the great blessings that He prepared. You won’t see things the way He sees them because the pain will lead you to believe that there’s no hope left. You won’t feel His presence, and you will be exhausted as you walk along the journey. The wounds will turn into bitterness, and it will stop you from believing in God’s promises. So before the worst thing happens, choose to kneel in the presence of God and give up your desire to control your situation.
Surrendering your wounds mean that you acknowledge the truth that God alone can heal your heart. You accept that you are not that strong to face the pain inside. The past you experienced may appear so devastating but remember that you can always trust that God will send His help. Just allow His love to consume your heart. Don’t dwell on what happened so that the lies in your head won’t appear louder than the promises of God. Focus instead on His words and let His instructions shine in your darkest path. Depend on His strength and be humble enough to accept the truth that you badly need His grace and healing. God won’t hesitate to give you what you need. Come to Him, and He will walk with you.
There are wonderful things that are happening around you. But sad to say, you can’t appreciate them because your eyes focus on the pain. Your heart just can’t experience joy because it is still fighting battles within. So instead of trying to fix things on your own. Call upon God and let Him help you. Trust in His power and surrender in His presence. Rely on His words even if you find it so painful to follow them. There will be days when He will ask you to do things that don’t make sense. But just trust the doctor because He knows the best thing to do. Submit in His lordship. Abide in His ways. Your healing may take some time, but it will be worth it.
Let God open the eyes of your heart, and you will slowly appreciate the blessings despite the wounds inside. Humbly acknowledge His wisdom, and you will receive a fresh revelation about the pain that you are going through. God wants to heal your heart, but He can’t do it if you won’t come into His presence. It takes a humble heart to acknowledge the power of God. Just let him do the mending, and you will see the abundant resources around you.
