We all need Someone who will Correct us out of Love

Sometimes, love is tough.  A person who truly cares for you will try to let you see better perspectives in life, and it’s not easy to do it. There are times when you will misinterpret their words and actions, but their purpose is to guide you to the right path. And we all need people like them. Someone who will correct and lead us to the light. If you have those kinds of friends, please do treasure them because they are hard to find. They are blessings from God, and one day, you will realize their true value in your life. You may not see it right now because maybe your mind is too focused on the painful things you experienced, but the moment you realize the lesson behind everything you’ve been through, you will also see the hearts of those who truly care for you.

Thank God for giving you friends who are courageous enough to release words that will change your life for the better. You never really know how difficult it is for them to do it. They know that there is a possibility that you will not receive their corrections, and you will take it as something that is against you. But the truth is, they just wanted you to know that they deeply care for you. So instead of doubting their love, choose to thank God because He allowed you to meet people who are willing to tell you the truth even if it hurts. You just have to learn how to receive it without condemning yourself.

Pray for a humble heart to accept corrections. Sometimes, we will fail to value the lessons that God wanted us to learn because our minds choose to focus on certain things that we only wanted to know. As a result, we tend to ignore those important lessons that will transform us into better people. So let God change your heart. Pray that He will teach you how to accept His discipline. You can’t do this on your own. You need His help. So come to His presence and let Him be the one who will guide you on what to do. Sometimes He will use the people around you.

You will never change unless your mind is not open enough to accept other people’s corrections. It will be hard for you to grow if you keep thinking about the pain and brokenness in your life. Try to appreciate those people who wanted to share the truth even if it breaks your heart. Just know that they love you, and all they want is for you to experience more of God’s love. Have a teachable heart that’s always willing to learn new things from others.
