We Choose To Love God Because He First Loved Us

It’s not about our own effort or strength. We have the willingness to love God because He first loved us. He sacrificed His son Jesus on the cross so that you and I will be saved. That’s how big and wonderful His love is. If you are having a hard time loving God, then just open your heart and receive Him in your heart. Let Him reign in your life because He alone can teach you how to stay faithful to Him. Do not rely on your own knowledge and understanding. Depend on God, and He will lead you to His ways. Sometimes, you will find it challenging to follow Him, but His love will compel you to do things for His glory. He will inspire you to experience breakthroughs in life.

Do not worry about the love of God because it will never run dry. He is bigger than you think. His goodness is not dependent on your actions. Nothing else can ever change the way God looks at you, not even your sins and mistakes. You can depend on Him because He will stay true to you. He will never abandon you. God understands your heart, and He knows your story. He loves you for who you are and not because of your sacrifices and efforts. His dedication for you will last forever, and He will never change. Not even in moments when you forget Him.

Let His love transform your life. Open your heart so that He can come in and heal the wounds inside. He will take away all the pain so that you will have the freedom to serve and follow Him. His love will transform your fears into courage. You will no longer live in doubt because God will change the way you think. He will teach you how to embrace and treasure His presence. And only then will you learn to value His ways. You will start to appreciate even the little things that He did. God will make you whole, and His love for you will change your life forever.

The key in loving God is to receive His love first. Just let Him move in your life, and you will be amazed about the next thing that you will experience. One day, you will learn to nourish your relationship with God, and you will love Him with all your heart. It’s no longer hard for you to follow His voice because your faith in Him is founded according to His unfailing love. You will choose to please Him, and it will be your joy to offer your life for His glory.
