What It Truly Means To Surrender To God

We can never control the situations around us. The problems that we face are sometimes great reminders that life will give us unexpected events that will test out faith in the Lord. But even though we never really know what will happen next, we can always choose to surrender everything to God. Sometimes, we wanted to surrender the burdens inside, but we just don’t know how to do it. We think that we already give up everything, but we never fully let go of our worries and cares on the inside. We still try to do things on our own.

Surrendering to God means you need to stop worrying. Do not focus on the negative things that will happen in your life. Instead, you need to set your eyes on the goodness of God. Do not always think of your problems. Learn to rest in the presence of God and let His peace reign in your heart. Believe that your Heavenly Father will always take good care of you no matter what happens. Lift up to Him all the negative thoughts in your mind and remember His promises in your life.

Allow God to take over. Stop trying to control the things that you can’t really control.  Let God perform miracles in your life. Never limit His power because He can do mighty things that you can never imagine.  Stop carrying everything on your shoulders. You can always ask help from God, and He will always be there to rescue you. Open your mind for His ways and believe that He knows what He is doing. You may not see all the things that He prepared for you, but all you need to do is abide in His ways and be patient.

Learn to trust God. He is the creator of this universe, and He sees everything. God loves you so much, and He always wants the best for you. When you surrender, you just have to give up everything. Offer it all to God and let Him take good care of you. Have faith and never doubt in His goodness. Remember His faithfulness in your life. Always put His love in your heart so that you will always have the strength to surrender. You can’t carry everything on your own. It’s time for you to take some rest and allow God to fight the battle for you. Never forget that in Him, there is always victory.
