When It’s Hard To Imagine What The Bright Future That God Promised Looks Like

Have you ever experienced that painful moment when you can’t find hope? Have you ever gone through a certain season when your questions are louder than God’s voice? It’s the part of the journey wherein you just can’t seem to imagine what the bright future that God promised looks like. Because of the negative things that you experienced, you can no longer see the good things that God prepared. The pain turned into a huge wall that hinders you from seeing His wonderful blessings. They appeared like giants that you can’t seem to conquer. It’s exhausting, and at the same time, it’s killing you on the inside.

If you happen to go through that kind of pain right now, then know that you are not alone. Jesus sees your heart. He was there when you just can’t stop the tears from falling. He was listening to your questions and saw your wounded heart. He knows what you are going through. And if there’s someone who understands you, it’s JESUS. He also went through rejection, suffering, and so much pain. He knows what it feels like to carry a heavy burden. In fact, His disciples left Him when He needed them the most. He was denied and falsely accused by the very people that He wanted to save. He knows that it wasn’t easy.

So come to your Savior, and He will comfort you. Listen to His voice, and He will give you reasons to move forward. He will open your eyes to the things that you fail to see. Jesus will pour out His love for you and renew you from the inside out. He will keep you safe and protected. And even if there’s pain, you will receive His unfailing love and indescribable peace. You will find rest in His arms. Just humbly seek His face and lean closer to His heart. Let His sacrifices on the cross remind you to keep on loving those who broke your heart. Let His pain and precious blood refresh your weary heart and strengthen your tired soul.

His promises will remain. And it’s up to you if you will believe Him or not. One thing is for sure: God will remain faithful. He will stay with you despite all your doubts and worries. He will continue to lead you to the bright future that He prepared. And all you need to do is trust in His promises, especially when you walk along a painful season. Just believe in His words because He will fulfill them in His appointed time.
