When things are Overwhelming, God is there to Hold your Hands

It’s not easy to go through storms on your own. You can’t help but be drowned by so many worries and fears. Instead of looking at the One who can help you, the strong waves and wind will eventually shake your faith. This is the reason why you should not focus on what you can’t control. Stop acting like you can hold everything in your hands. Learn to let go and allow God to take over. It means that you need to stop giving your situation the right to consume your soul. Instead, you need to allow God to hold you. Follow where He leads, and trust that He will keep you safe in His arms. It doesn’t mean that pain won’t be there. You will still go through heartaches, but the pain will never destroy you in the end. Instead, it will help us become even stronger.

Your situation appears so overwhelming because you are trying to carry everything that you are supposed to surrender. You wanted to control the unexpected events in your life to the point that you find so helpless inside. The truth is, you are not a super human. You need to acknowledge that you need the help of God. He wanted you to lay down all your burdens to Him. Raise your hands in worship and let Him take over. It’s time to humbly accept the truth that you badly need His grace to overcome the situation that you are in. You need His love and compassion.

Trust that God will equip you. When He holds your hands, it means that He is leading you to a place where you will find comfort and peace. He is giving you a chance to experience His victory. It’s just there are times when He takes you on an unknown journey. It’s when you will walk along unfamiliar paths and unexpected detours. When that happens, all you need to do is trust Him because He is the only One who sees what’s ahead. Let Him determine your steps, and He will guide you to the place that He prepared. Things won’t always be easy, but the moments you spend with Him are all worth the pain.

He will be your strength. When you can’t find the reason to keep moving, God will pull you up again. He will continue to provide the things that you need. He will empower your soul. So come to Him, and please face your problems on your own. You have a living God. He wanted you to know His love. Keep His words in your heart, and they will serve as a living reminder that no matter what life throws at you, things will be better.
