Where you Want to Be

You may not be exactly in the place
Where you want to be
But your identity never lies
On your accomplishments
Or the things that you’ve been through

You are who God says you are
Your worth is not determined
On what you achieve
Or how you look
God sees you as His precious child

And no matter how many hardships
You face in life
That doesn’t change the fact
That you are God’s beloved

So never label yourself
According to your success
Look deeper
And discover who you truly are
In the eyes of God

Only Him can change the way you think
Sometimes, you feel so disappointed
Because you are focusing
On the wrong things

You keep looking at what you don’t have
And you feel dismayed
Every time you remember your mistakes
You look down on yourself
Because you never reached your dreams

Please learn to love yourself
There is so much more in life
And God prepared great things for you
You may not see it now
But keep walking
Because He is leading you
To the right path

Just have the humble heart
To obey His instructions
You are an amazing person
You made it this far
Because God sustained you
Through His grace

So depend on Him
And not on your own strength
Acknowledge His will
And He will lead you back on track
