Work Hard but Pray Harder
You will reap what you sow. If you choose to exert effort in everything you do, you will gain something from it. But don’t just depend on your own strength. Remember that nothing beats prayer. At the end of the day, God’s plans will always prevail. So instead of living this life according to your own knowledge and understanding, choose to listen to God and include Him in everything you do. Ask for His guidance and keep doing what pleases His name. Give your best, but acknowledge His power along the process. After all, God alone knows what’s ahead, and He is the only one who can lead you to the right path. He is in charge of what’s happening around you. So do not stop praying, and His light will keep on shining.
Your life will be better if you put God at the center. Do not do things on your own. You may have your own plans, but never make decisions without consulting God. Listen to His voice, and you will have the courage to face every problem. He will teach you how to do things according to His ways. He will motivate you to give your best. In Him, you will figure out the things you are really passionate about, and you will learn to exert some effort just to make things happen. He will be your coach. And the beauty of walking with God along the journey is you will experience more of His love and power. Your relationship with Him will never be the same.
Choose to persevere at the same time, increase your faith in Him. The important matter in life doesn’t happen in an instant. Sometimes, you need to be patient and work hard to get them. You will only learn to value its worth if you exert enough effort. So if you are in the process of getting the things that you deeply desire, then never forget to embrace the presence of God while waiting. Cover all your efforts and decisions with prayer, and everything is going to be okay. Give everything that you’ve got, but trust Him even more.
Your hard work will never be in vain as long as you offer it to God. He will make it fruitful. One day, you will harvest everything that you planted. You may think that He never appreciates what you do for Him, but the moment you see the fruits in your life, you will realize that He never wasted all the sweat and tears that you offer just to get to the place where you are destined to be. He knows that you can do it. Just don’t neglect His presence along the process.
