Yes, It’s Hard, But You Need To Forgive Yourself First

Pain can stop us from doing things that we want. It can demotivate and discourage us. That’s why we need to face it. Even if it’s difficult, we need to acknowledge our pain so that we will be healed. We can’t treat something if we keep on denying it. And the first thing that we can do is to forgive ourselves.

Sometimes, we still feel the pain inside because we unknowingly blame ourselves for everything that happened to our lives. We feel guilty for the mistakes that we did and sometimes condemn ourselves for the negative things around us. We feel like all the bad things in our lives are the outcome of our mistakes and bad choices. And we end up punishing ourselves.

Please don’t be too hard on yourself. You are just human, and you are not perfect. We all commit mistakes, but God never condemns us. He never treated us like sinners. Instead, He let us feel loved and accepted. I hope you will learn to love yourself the way God loves you. He wanted to help you right now, but you need to accept Him first.

Jesus died on the cross to save you. You just have to confess all your sins and ask for forgiveness, and after that, you will learn to forgive yourself. Freedom starts when you receive God’s mercy, and when you also release it to yourself. You don’t have to live in the darkness. Jesus will rescue you if you will just allow Him.

Your pain will slowly heal when you start to forgive yourself. You will learn to understand others and also have the heart to love them the way God loves you. It’s a challenging thing to do, but once you take the first step, you will be relieved. Take heart! God will be with you along the process of healing.

I pray that one day, you will learn to forgive yourself. God will turn your painful experiences into a beautiful testimony. So allow yourself to experience freedom. You deserve to be healed. God prepared great things for you. Learn to let go and allow Him to heal you.
