You can be alone with God

In a life full of choices, you would sometimes feel lost on what to take and what not to. You would like to experience different things in life and try to find happiness in it. You try one thing and then shift to another when things don’t work out well. You also realize that it seems like you are chasing an eternal race, like the moments when you notice that you have been in the motion for so long and nothing seems to be changing. It could be overwhelming and exhausting. There will be moments when you feel like life has neglected you.

The time will come that you will have to do everything yourself. Which could happen most of the time. You have to figure things out on your own. You will be searching for the so-called calling and destiny. You will be starting to do things that are not familiar to you. You will sometimes win, sometimes not. You might lose, but you will learn at the same time. It is all in a cycle of ups and downs. It is about trying and then learning. It could also be figuring out or writing it down on your own.

The good sign is that there are things that you can control, and that is you. It could sometimes wiggle your plans in a life full of unpredictable signs. However, being all by yourself can make you more intimate with God. Being alone could also help you to hear Him better and clearer. When you do not know what to do or how to do it, start with what God has given you. Being all by yourself is a great way to be closer to Him. Allow yourself to be alone with God, so your decisions will be more aligned with His.

When you are alone, it’s the perfect time to meditate on His word. You can reflect on His promises in your life. You will then see how God will change your heart and perspective. Remember that God blesses you in different forms. Being alone with Him is one. You will realize  that being on your own doesn’t mean being lonely. Instead, it is the moment where He will teach you how to love yourself even more.

Being alone means being alone with Him. Away from the chaos and the demands of the world. Away from the selfish and false desires that could wrong you. Being alone means being alone under His arms. You will find the rest under the shade of His love that will regain and give you more strength. Beyond the noise of the world lies the tranquility of His voice. Allow God to work within you. Let the peace of God’s love start in your heart.
