You can Earn back your Money but not your Precious Time
Please never forget that the time you have right now is not yours. It’s just a gift. You can never take it back. It’s precious than the wealth that you can acquire here on earth. So learn to manage the remaining time that you have. Yes, you need to work and earn money for the sake of those people who are depending on you but learn to manage your time. Create more memories with the people you love. If you are already a parent, then spend more time with your kids. Remember that they are growing, and you can never take back those precious moments that you missed. At the end of the day, your money can never pay back the love that your children long in those times when you are not with them.
Choose to spend your time wisely. Check the activities that consume your day, and figure out the next steps that you need to do in order for you to break your bad habits. Focus on what’s important and lasting. Sometimes, we unknowingly do things just for the sake of our own pleasures, and we forget to take good care of the relationships that God has given us. Pray that He will give you the wisdom to manage your time. You can ask for His help. He will be there to guide you as long as you choose to humble yourself and receive His corrections.
Set your priorities and limitations. Remember that we are living in the information age. We are bombarded by so many destructions, and we are challenged to stay focused on the meaningful things around us. So for you to stay on track, list down the things that are important to you and allocate more time for them, learn to also set boundaries so that you will have enough strength and energy for the things you choose to prioritize. Your life will never be wasted as long as you learn to steward God’s blessings, and that includes the remaining time you have left.
Yes, you need money to survive, but remember that gaining riches here on earth is not just what life is all about. You also need to develop your relationships, especially with God and your family. Spend more time with them. Give the first hour of your day to God, and you will feel so refreshed. Treasure the memories you have with your friends. When you grow older and reminisce the past, you will not remember the temporary things you have, but instead, you will recall those happy memories with the people you love.
