You can Learn from the People you have Met

Other people could be the reason why you are motivated to go on and fight in life. They could be your source of inspiration and strength to remind you to get up whenever life throws problems on you. On the same strand, people could also be the reason to hurt you. Their words can make or break you. You start to distance yourself from them and try to avoid meeting more people in your life. Sometimes, pain can cause you too much to lose the trust that you once quickly built. As you go on in life, you start to be conscious of who you would let into your life. You become so careful that sometimes, you have only to begin making walls just to protect yourself.

Having met different people in your life helped you become who you are today. Good deeds make you feel great that you also want to help more people in many and most straightforward ways. There are those people who inspire you to feel great about yourself and to radiate that goodness to others. Some teach you how to be humble just by learning how to restrain anger and be conscious and kind with their words even if they are being treated lowly.

People who don’t have much but still choose to be generous can teach you that you actually have something in you that you can share with others. That sharing isn’t really that hard, and you can do it any time in any place. People who choose to be silent teach you how to listen and be objective in judging others. It taught you that sometimes, words aren’t necessary to solve and lessen problems, but being silent can.

On the other hand, challenging people can actually teach you more than you know. People who get into your nerves are one of the keys to understanding more about yourself. Through them, you will learn how you will respond to hurtful things that they have said and done. It will make you wiser if you use the lessons that God is teaching you. People who just left your life for no reason at all will teach you that they really do come and go. People who use harsh words on you will teach you that they sometimes use pain and fear to protect themselves. That they also hurt people who only know how to hurt others because they have rough times themselves. People who made you lose your trust in them will teach you how to forgive. They can teach you how to decipher and take things wisely.

Different kinds of people will teach you other things in life. God let you meet them because He can use them to teach you something that will help you shape your character. He is actually exposing you to that side of reality in life. He is trying to teach you how to understand people the way He understands you. The course they affect you will teach you how to deal with yourself. He is teaching you how you would handle and use your heart and mind. Remember, one way or another, God is leading you to something in different moments in your life, primarily through people. You will be exposed to hearing and understanding the various journeys of life. The things that other people experience will make you discover more of yourself.
