You can’t Train yourself, You need God to Guide you
You need a teacher in your life. There are many things that you need to learn as a person, and you can never make it on your own. You need God to guide you. If you wanted to grow in your faith, then choose to connect to God every day, and He will teach you how to maximize the blessings that He provided for you. Stop living this life alone. Read His word and let Him reveal to you the important lessons that you should learn. Never depend on your own knowledge and understanding. Sometimes, you think that you are doing the right thing, and you unknowingly follow your own will instead of listening to God. And in the end, you realize that you are on the wrong track because you already experienced the consequences of your bad decisions. Before it’s too late, try to open your heart so that God can teach you what to do.
Let His word lead you in the right direction. You can find a lot of instructions in the bible. And once you choose to read it every day, you will see yourself growing in the Lord. The Holy Spirit will reveal to you the great mysteries of God, and only then will you learn to appreciate God’s love even more. His word will remind you about the important things you should remember, especially when you go through hardships and pain. His promises will give you enough strength to learn the lesson even if you experience a lot of uncertainties.
Acknowledge the truth that you need God in your life. The teacher will come the moment the student is ready to learn. When you seek His name and ask for more of His wisdom, God will give it to you. Never forget that you can always ask for His help. You just need to be humble enough to accept the truth that only God can make you grow into a better person. He alone can teach you how to reach your potentials because He personally molded and created you.
What you have in mind is simply not enough to make you grow. You need to learn how to process your experiences and look at things from a better perspective. God needs to change your thoughts first so that you will see the lessons behind your problems and challenges. He needs to open your mind so that you will appreciate the bigger picture. You can only experience the fullness of this life, the moment you treat God as your greatest mentor and adviser.
