You will experience more of God when you learn to serve the Broken and the Wounded
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted. He is there, giving those who are hopeless the chance to move forward and start again. He is making way for those who are struggling to overcome their problems. If you only learn to do the things that He is also doing, you will realize what it truly means to be loved by God. If you allow yourself to become His vessel, then you will have a glimpse of how much He loves the people around you. Having an intimate relationship with Him means you need to know Him on a deeper level. And you can only do that the moment you walk along the path that He wants you to take. Sometimes, He will allow you to meet wounded people along the journey. You will find it hard to comprehend why you need to know them, but God will open your heart and give you a chance to discover how He heals a wounded person. When you witness His goodness in someone’s life, your heart will be in awe and amazed at how great He is.
Step outside your comfort zone and choose to help others. You may have your own needs but surrender them all to God. Take good care of yourself, and after that, slowly serve the people around you. Be more sensitive to their needs. Sometimes, when we are too focused on what we want, we tend to feel like the world revolves around us. We feel entitled to the blessings that we receive and fail to appreciate God’s hands along the process. The best way for us to stay grounded in our walk with Him is to slowly kill our selfish desires and choose to love those who are in pain.
Be patient with those people who are also going through so much in life. Ask God how to deal with them. Instead of following your own desires, learn to surrender in His presence. Let go of your preconceived thoughts and allow the Holy Spirit to renew your mind. When you see things the way God sees them, you will also learn to understand the difficult people around you. He will open your eyes to their wounds, and that’s when you will know how God takes good care of them.
God loves His people, and when you learn to share your life with others, you will feel so blessed because that’s when you will experience more of Him. You can receive more of His love the moment you give yourself away. You will know Him more when you choose to allow His light to shine in your life, even in the midst of chaos. You will discover more of His power the moment you allow Him to use you as His vessel. God’s love is real, and it’s the most wonderful thing you could ever experience here on earth.
