Your Prayer is more about What you See than what you Say
Prayers are not just asking God to do what we want but more about believing in God’s grace and glory. It is about believing in His immeasurable power and wisdom. Our prayers are powerful. They hold our connection with the Father. However, it is not just a one-way dialogue. It is a communication wherein you need to listen. Prayers are not just for provisions. It is more than that. It is about how we grow in the presence of the Father and how we will obey Him.
He listens to us genuinely. He understands why we utter the words that we did, what is living in our hearts, and what we desire. However, He sees things in us that we do not know. He knows the depths of our roots, of our scars, that becomes the reason for our tears and longing.
Our prayers are sometimes answered in the most unexpected ways. God is the Father of all surprises. Because His wisdom is so broad, deep, and immeasurable, we often cannot understand how He does things. But have you noticed something? Even if our prayers are not answered the way we asked for them, something good always happens. It may be something that we cannot understand yet, but God always gives us enough blessings. He still provides, even through the smallest things. He uses people to speak of His goodness.
We might sometimes think that we lack things. But if we give ourselves chances to learn and change perspectives, we will see that our prayers are what we are really surrounded with. Sometimes, it is about waiting for God to move and for us to understand.
Once you learn to be grateful for the answers, your heart will know how to receive more of God’s blessings and favor. You will notice that prayers are not just about believing what you asked but trusting God with His ways. It is about trusting that He will do more extraordinary things. He knows your needs. He knows what would be valuable to you. But that doesn’t mean you will seize talking and praying to Him. You still need to be consistent with your prayers. Prayers are what you see in His goodness, not just what you say. So, hold on to His promise and believe He will do more than what you prayed for.
Believe in His ways even if you find them hard to understand. Not everything that He does is comprehensible to us. But the great thing is that He will keep doing good and extraordinary things in our lives. Our prayers are powerful but let us remember that who we tell our prayers to is way more potent than our prayers. Let us believe that how God answers our prayers reveals His love for us. We might not understand it yet, but let us know that He is and will always be a good Father.
