Your Worries can never Lift you Up

If you want to survive, then look for things that will push you to keep going. Your worries can never do that for you. Things will remain complicated if you will keep on thinking about your unanswered prayers. You will never value the blessings around you if you focus on what you don’t have. Your worries can never solve your problems. In fact, they will just lead you to the dark path. And the sad thing is, what you are worrying about never really exists. They are just mere imaginations that seem to appear so real in your head.

Choose to live in the present. Wake up and look at the beauty around you. Learn to appreciate the simple yet very important miracles that God is doing in your life. Don’t miss them. You won’t be able to treasure your moments with your Heavenly Father if you keep on thinking about your fears. Step outside your worries and explore the resources that God has given you.

Think of the good things that God did in your life. Be grateful for all the blessings that you received from Him. Instead of looking at what you can’t acquire at the moment, why not focus on what you have. Your worries will kill your creativity. You won’t be able to maximize the resources around you if you keep on looking for something else. Choose to value what God has given you right now and seek His wisdom. Allow Him to guide you and trust that He never commits a mistake. He purposely gave you those blessings because He knows that you can use them for His glory. Don’t wait for something else. Sometimes, God gives you answers that are very different from your expectations. Maybe He is giving you the raw materials, and it’s up to you if you will use them or not.

Choose to surrender. There are things in life that you can’t control. So instead of trying to hold everything in your hands, be courageous enough to let go of the heavy burdens that you are carrying. Humble yourself in the Lord and seek His provision. Trust in Him. He knows everything. Keep His promises in your heart and hold on to them, especially in moments when you are worrying. Remind yourself that God is in charge. He is your Father, and He will take good care of you. He will never abandon you. He already sustained you all throughout these years, now is not the time for you to doubt Him. You are more valuable than the lilies in the valley and the birds in the sky. He will give you what you need. Just wait and stop thinking of the worst things.

Worries are like toxic thoughts that will kill your joy. They will rob you of experiencing God’s blessings. When you always think of the negative things, your brain will stop looking for answers. Instead, it will be consumed with fears. If you want to overcome your situation, lift yourself up and stop thinking about the things that haven’t happened yet. Focus on the goodness of God and trust in His love.
