A Heart that cries for Validation seeks to Please other People

People who are longing for love will sometimes be tempted to look for it in the wrong person. And because they badly wanted to receive affirmation, they chose to please others just for them to feel validated. But the sad truth is, people can make you feel loved and accepted but not every moment. We are all imperfect, and each of us is carrying thorns that will somehow hurt somebody else. You can never please everyone. You will end up broken and frustrated if you just keep focusing on what other people want you to do. Focus on God, and choose to do the things that please His name. In Him, you will never feel disappointed. Doing His will may not be that easy, but it’s worth all your sacrifices.

Other people’s validation can never quench your thirst inside. They can make you feel valuable, but it will never last. This world is too broken. That’s why God alone can give you the kind of love that an imperfect person can never offer. Come to Him, and He will satisfy you. Jesus is the bread of life. In Him, you will never feel hungry or thirsty. He will provide for what you need. He will give you enough grace. You may feel worried about what other people might think. But what matters most in life is not how others see you, but it’s how God sees you.

Never allow other people to dictate your actions. God gave you the freedom to do your own thing. You may seek their advice, but doing everything that they want you to do is a different thing. You are not a robot. Even God never forced you to do what He wants. He acknowledges your decisions. So live this life according to His will. You are created to experience the fullness of His blessings. He empowers you to explore this world and reach your potentials. Never allow other people’s judgment to hinder you from fulfilling the purpose that He planted in your heart. You are meant for greater things. And you can only experience breakthroughs the moment you set your eyes on Him.

Listen to God, for He alone knows your true identity. He created you. So no matter how broken you are, come to Him, and He will make you feel whole again. He knows the answers to your questions. He holds the key in your heart. Surrender your life to Him, and treat Him as your King. Let Him reign, and you will never feel empty again. Please Him, and you will be filled.

Thank you so much for these inspiring acticles. As I scroll through facebook , i found this post and this is what I really needed right now. As a Christian, I’ve been experiencing a lot of trials and doubts and confusion, can’t even find comfort on people who I thought might help me with this.
Truly , it is God alone who can help us, who can we fully rely on, who can make us feel loced despite of our shortcomings.

Please continue to inspire others and may God graciously use “PURSEUD” to inspire and help many people. May God bless you even more !
