His Word

Acts 12: 6-7, NIV

So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him. The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance. Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!’ he said, and the chains fell of Peter’s wrists.

Acts 12: 6-7, NIV

Peter was thrown into prison, but people are praying for Him. They earnestly came in the presence of God and asked for His help. And then God answered them. A miraculous thing happened to Peter. An angel rescued Him and helped him escape. He sent His angel to guide and lead Peter back to a safer place. You see, Peter experienced amazing things not just because of His own effort and strength but it’s all because of God’s grace. It’s all because the church prayed and interceded for Him. You see, God is gracious. He listens to our cries. So if there is something that you asked for God and people are also praying for you, then know that God will move just like how He rescued Peter.

May you keep on praying to God despite all the challenges that you face.
