Acts 2:38, NIV

This is how you will receive the Holy Spirit in your life. First, you need to repent. It means that you need to change the way you think. Align your thoughts and principles according to God’s will. Allow His precious blood to purify your soul. After that, you need to be baptize in the name of Jesus Christ. Receive His forgiveness. Make a decision to walk away from your old and sinful life. Choose to follow His ways and abide in His instructions. And then that’s when you will receive the precious gift that Jesus gave to all His followers – the Holy Spirit.
