Day 157 – 1 Samuel 15:22
This verse was Samuel’s reply to King Saul when he disobeyed the instruction of God. Instead of following God, King Saul chose to offer a sacrifice hoping that God will be pleased for what He did. But in the end, God would love us to obey than offer sacrifices. Remember that everything that He said is only for our own good. And following Him may be challenging, but we need to put Him first above our own desires. Let’s focus on God, for He knows what’s best for us. We never really see what’s ahead. But God designed everything, and He wants to prepare us for greater blessings. So let’s learn to obey even if we can’t understand what’s happening.
May you always choose to obey God more than anything else.
