Day 206 – Matthew 22:37

This is not a suggestion or a piece of advice from Jesus.  It is a command that we need to follow.  An expert of the law asked our Savior about the greatest commandment, and this is what He answered.  We are meant to love God not just according to our emotions, but we must do it with all our heart, soul, and mind.  Try to evaluate the things that are going on inside.  Can you find God there?  If you love someone, you can’t help but always think of them.  The question is, are you thinking of Him?  Can you still remember His promises?  Loving God means you put Him at the center of your heart.

I pray that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind.
