Day 247 – Matthew 26:28
This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

This happened during the last supper. He said these words after He took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to His disciples. Jesus knew the suffering that He would go through, and it would cause His blood to bleed and His body to be in pain, but He acknowledged the power behind His suffering. He knew that it was for the benefit of everybody. He sacrificed His life so that we would be forgiven. Let’s not forget what Jesus did on the cross. Let’s not waste His blood. Instead, we need to humbly come to His presence and receive His grace.
I pray that you will let the precious blood of Jesus to cleanse your soul.
