Day 252 – Romans 12:21
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Romans 12:21, NIV
Sometimes we are tempted to do bad things to those people who hurt us. But God wants us to overcome evil with good. That’s why we need to choose love over pain. And no matter how challenging it is to love those people who broke our hearts, we still need to rely on God’s grace. We need to learn how to stay kind despite everything that they did. We do this simply because we choose to glorify God in the midst of pain and brokenness. Know that the good things we did for others will never be in vain. God’s love will always prevail, and in Him, there is always hope and victory.
I pray that you will choose to do good things despite the pain you experienced.
