His Word

Day 331 – Mark 14: 65

Then some began to spit at him; they blindfolded him, struck him with their fists, and said, “Prophesy!” And the guards took him and beat him.

Mark 14: 65, NIV

Jesus Christ suffered even though He is perfect and pure. He was beaten without justifiable reason. He endured the pain because He wanted to please God and save us from hell. That’s how great and awesome His love is. Imagine, He offered His life so we can spend eternity with Him. No human being can do it. We even find it difficult to serve others because we tend to expect something in return. But our Savior never leaves us alone. He chose to walk in calvary and carry our sins so that one day, we will live with Him. That’s how faithful He is.

May we also learn to offer our lives to Jesus.
