Day 471 – Luke 23:46
Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.

These are the last words that Jesus said before He died on the cross. In His last breath, Jesus chose to commit His spirit to our Heavenly Father despite all the pain and suffering that He experienced. He didn’t resent the will of God. Jesus chose to humbly accept it. He didn’t feel bitter because God chose to save us rather than Him. He lived and died according to God’s purpose and timeline. His life is a very wonderful reminder for us to acknowledge the will of God even in moments of problems and pain. Just like Jesus, we are called to submit to our Heavenly Father regardless of the things that we will go through.
