Give yourself the Chance to Change
There is still hope. You can still see changes in your life. All you need to do is give yourself a chance to try and take small steps one at a time. Change won’t happen if you won’t cooperate. No matter how much God wants you to experience new things, still, He will acknowledge your freedom to make decisions. He will move through the things that are happening around you, but He won’t usually intervene against your free will. He will present certain situations that will give you the opportunity to change into a better person, but it’s up to you if you will abide in Him or not. That’s why it’s very important that you need to believe deep in your heart that you still have the chance to see a better life. That’s what faith is all about. Trust in God’s promises, and you will have the courage to make profound changes.
God will help you. The journey toward change is not easy, but God will be there to give you the support you need. You just have to stop living on your own. It’s time for you to acknowledge His presence in your life. Hold on to His words and allow Him to carry you through His promises. Let go of your desire to control the things around you. Instead, focus on what you can manage – yourself. You can still do something. You can make choices that you think are impossible to make. You just have to activate your faith so that the fear in your heart won’t consume your decisions. You need to remind yourself that the God of this universe is with you.
Don’t easily lose hope. Maybe you already tried to make changes before, but then nothing happened. That’s why you stopped believing that your life will still change. You may find it hard to imagine what life feels like outside the darkness, but you need to hold on and keep trying. Maybe you failed before because you tried to do things on your own. This time around, go through the process with God. Hold His hands, and He will open your eyes to the things that you failed to appreciate. When that happens, you will then see the light that will guide you to the blessings that He prepared.
Open your heart and allow God’s grace to transform your life. You need to make a decision. You need to be intentional in your actions. Let God’s love consume your heart and heal the wounds that create fear inside. Let His faithfulness gives you the strength to persevere despite all the hardships. Please believe that God alone can change you from the inside out. You must give Him a chance to do it. That means you need to surrender your life to Him. Let Jesus be the King of your life, and allow Him to reign. Only then will you learn to live according to your God-given identity.
