Go Back To The Secret Place
Jesus reminded us how we should pray. We need to go back to the secret place and talk to Him. It means that God wants to meet His children in a place where there’s no one else but His presence. In the secret place, it’s where you can pour out your heart and be honest to Him. It’s where you can cry and be vulnerable without feeling any shame. God will meet you there. He is waiting for you to intimately connect to Him.
You may have a busy schedule, but please don’t forget your prayer time. You need it every single day. We all need God’s guidance and wisdom. It takes humility to acknowledge the truth that we can’t live without Him. And above all, God wants to be with us. He desires for His children to know Him. And it’s in the secret place where we will discover more of His heart. It’s where He will reveal the things that we need to learn.
Being in the presence of God is like receiving a priceless treasure. When His love fills your heart, you will be reminded of His glory and holiness. It feels like heaven. And when you are satisfied in Him, you will no longer seek for things that will destroy you in the end. Instead, your soul will hunger for more of Him. Your wounded heart will be healed, and slowly, He will teach you to love again.
Seek His presence, and you will find it. Never start your day without connecting to Him first. Ask for His instructions. Remind yourself that everything depends on His grace. Cling to His presence and abide in His ways. Read His words and write His promises in your heart. Go back to the cross and let the sufferings of Jesus lead you to repentance. Let His precious blood purify your heart and cleanse your soul. Let His love give you the courage to carry your cross and follow Him. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Prayer: Father God, thank you so much for sending the Holy Spirit to be our guide and teacher. Please teach us to be more sensitive to your presence. I pray for a humble heart that’s always willing to seek your face. May the hunger inside lead me closer to your heart so that I may know You and worship You throughout the days of my life. Thank you so much, Lord, for everything. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
