He Loved Me First

I am a sinner
I know that I’m nothing without Him
But despite all my flaws
He chose to love me first

He offered His life
And He saves me from pain
His grace is there
To show me that I am forgiven

I am not perfect
I committed so many mistakes
Sometimes I feel so helpless
But He chooses to keep on loving me

He strengthens me
Even if I fail to appreciate Him
He holds my hands
Even when I keep doubting His love

He never gives up
He stayed faithful
And because of what He did
I learned to share His love with others
