I Know That God Truly Loves Me And That’s Enough

This is what I always declare to myself every time I feel so weak and down. I may have many things going on in my mind, but I know that deep inside, God’s love for me is more than enough. The problems that surround me are nothing compared to the great love of God in my life.  I may feel overwhelmed with worries, but I always remind myself that nothing is too difficult for our God. I stopped looking at the things that I don’t have. Instead, I learn to appreciate His blessings in my life.

The things of this world can never satisfy the thirst in my heart. I may have the money to buy the kinds of stuff that I want, but at the end of the day, nothing can satisfy me except the love of God. My wealth will be taken away from me, but God’s love will stay no matter what happens. So I will choose Him over my earthly possessions. God will heal my broken heart, and He will make me whole. Everyone will change, the things that I acquire will fade, people will come and go, but not God’s love. He will never leave me and that’s how incredible His love is.

That’s why I focus on Him instead of my problems. I may find it hard to overcome some obstacles in life, but I learned to persevere with God. I gained some strength because I know that He will always be with me. I also have some doubts in my mind, but I choose to remind myself about His great promises in my life. He is the reason why I made it this far. I can’t even imagine my life without Him. I learned to rely on His ways rather than trust in my own understanding. His love became the strongest foundation of my heart. 

This life will never be perfect. I know that there are uncertainties. But even though there’s a possibility that I might get hurt along the process, I believe that God’s love makes everything worth it. My experiences with Him will be my best memories here on earth. I may feel happy when I achieve my dreams, but I will be even happier if I will spend my journey with Him. He is my ultimate lover. God made me feel secure when everything in my life is a mess. He makes me feel so fulfilled deep within.
