I Will Choose To Find Rest In Your Love

I’ve been walking along this path called life, and I realized that it’s not perfect. There are days when I go through a very smooth road, but there are also moments when I can’t find my way out because I’m surrounded by big rocks and a lot of obstacles. I may face difficulties, but I know God that you are with me. And no matter how painful it is for me to overcome my past, I will choose to find rest in Your love. Because You alone keep me safe and protected. This world may say that I need to gain more money to feel secure, but nothing compares to the assurance that Your love gives. There may be problems, but I know that you will stay faithful, and You will always help me through.

You are the giver of my peace. I can’t imagine my life without your love, Lord. All this time, I just keep on relying on your grace because I know for sure that I can never make it without you. There are times when I just can’t understand myself, and I reached that point when I already wanted to give up because I can no longer see the light. But you are there with me, you never stop telling me about your love.  You always embrace me when I am in pain, and you keep on pursuing me even if I feel like I don’t deserve the things you provided for me. I just can’t help but feel in awe of the miracles that you did in my life. 

You have proven your love for me. That’s why, when I encounter negative situations in life, I will choose to remember all your sacrifice. No matter what I do, life will always find a way to shake my faith, so I will stay with you, Lord. I am not perfect, but I will choose your love again and again. I know that you are the only constant in this world. People will change, and all I can see right now are temporary. I may not be able to touch you, but I know that you are real.

Your love for me will never change. And that truth alone gives me the assurance that no matter how challenging this life may be, I will be okay at end of the day. Simply because your love will sustain me forever. Thank you, Lord, for everything. I know that these words are nothing compared to what you did in my life. But may your name be always glorified. I will forever feel in awe of your great and marvelous love.
