John 14: 21, NIV

If you really love Jesus, then you will obey His commands. This may be a challenging thing to do, but the only way for you to discover more of Him is by doing His will. His instructions may not always appear relevant to your situation, but you need to trust Him. Faithfully abide in His words even if it doesn’t make sense in your eyes. God will connect everything in His perfect timing. Just do what He asks you to do, not out of responsibility but out of your love for Him. Imagine that your obedience to God is also your way of demonstrating your worship and devotion.
