John 14:27, NIV

You may go through unexpected events in life, but don’t let your hearts be troubled. Jesus already gave you the peace that you need. You just have to open your heart and receive it. You can take charge of your situation no matter how difficult it is. You can’t focus on God and allow His to take over. Do not be afraid. Your problems may appear big, but God is more powerful. Keep your faith in Him, and do not rely on your feelings. Humbly abide by His instructions even if it doesn’t make sense. Let His promises give you the assurance and peace that you need.
