John 16:33, NIV

Jesus didn’t promise us a comfortable life. In fact, He said to His disciples that they would face tribulations. They will go through pain and suffering. They will experience problems and persecution, but despite these things, Jesus gives them the courage to keep going. He has overcome this world. Meaning to say, the enemy no longer has the power to trap us in His schemes as long as we have Jesus in our hearts. He is the One who can help us experience victory. His precious blood has already won the battle, and it means that we will receive peace in His presence. So take heart! Keep going and receive the victory that Jesus experienced on the cross.
