I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.

This is the cry of Jesus for His disciples. He humbly lifted them up to God. He knows that any time soon, God the Father will take Him to heaven. That’s why He was praying for those that God entrusted to Him. He asked for their protection because He knew the things that they would experience. They will go through persecution and suffering. The faith of His disciples will be greatly challenged. Jesus knew that the path that they would take was not easy, but the most reassuring part was that Jesus prayed for them. You see, your Savior knows the troubles that you will experience. He is also ministering to you. So come to His presence and remember that He cares for you.
I pray that just like Jesus, you will also learn to cover the people that God entrusted to you with prayers.
