John 19:15, NIV

People wanted to crucify Jesus, not knowing that He was the only One who could save them. He suffered and was tortured because they never recognized Him. Sometimes, we are also like these people in so many ways. We hurt God, not knowing that He is the One who can help us. We tend to blame Him for the bad things that happened and forget to recognize our mistakes. We caused Him pain by following our own desires and sins. But despite what we did, Jesus remained faithful to us. He chose the cross to save us and gave us the chance to be with Him. Jesus chose love and not hatred.

I pray that you will also choose to love your Savior just like how He chose you.
