Let The Goodness Of God Flow Through You
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Romans 12: 21, NIV
This world will sometimes test your heart. Things won’t be perfect. There will be days when you just can’t understand what’s going on. You will unexpectedly receive pain from the people around you. Tears will flow. The negative situations that you will experience will either break or make you. That’s why you need to carefully consider the way you respond to it.
Just because you are hurt by other people’s actions or words doesn’t mean you will receive peace the moment you take revenge. According to the word of God, we can overcome evil by doing good. This may not be easy, but this is how God works. He wanted us to do the same thing. So, instead of focusing on the wrong things that others did. Try to set your eyes on God’s grace and blessings. Focus on the good things that are happening around you, and surrender all your pain to God.
Be good even if other people don’t appreciate your value. Be kind even if you hear bad words from them. Stay rooted in God’s love even if you are going through heartbreaks. Remember that love always wins. The world may sometimes convince you to do the opposite thing, but you can never really live a fulfilled life the moment you take justice into your own hands. It’s meant to be surrendered. Yield in the presence of God and let Him carry you through.
The enemy is already defeated. Jesus already won the victory. And you can only experience it when you learn to live with His love. It is a powerful thing that takes away your fears. God’s perfect love will lead you to do good things even in the midst of hardships. It’s His grace that will help you through. You can’t make it on your own. You need God in your life.
Let the goodness of God flow through you. Surrender and allow His love to consume your wounded heart. Those who choose to be kind are the bravest people in life. Those who choose to love are the real heroes. They are brave enough to face the realities of this world with kindness and grace. They weren’t overcome by their fears or hatred. Instead, they were driven by a stronger force. And that’s God’s perfect love. You can also receive it in your life. Just open your heart, and God will help you overcome the enemy.
Prayer: Father God, thank you so much for your great love. Because of it, I learned how to serve others with kindness, especially those who caused me pain. May you continue to fill my heart with courage so that I may always choose to serve you and your people no matter what it takes. I pray for your guidance. Lord, please teach me how to become a bearer of your light and love. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
