Loving Father, Please Remind Me That I Am Not Alone

Lately, I’ve been going through a series of pains that greatly challenged my faith. I don’t know where to start, and I don’t have any clue what’s really going on. I just knew that I was not okay, and something inside was bothering me. Every time I try to face all these uncertainties on my own, I can’t help but wonder why I feel like I am the only human being in this world.

The people around me looked so happy and successful. They put smiles on their faces, and it seems like they don’t have any problems at all. But here I am, struggling for something that I don’t even understand. Here I am, questioning my life and all the things I’ve done.

This is why I badly need you to remind me that I am not alone. Yes, I can’t see you, but help me, Lord, that I may feel your presence in everything that I do. Teach me how to become more sensitive to your ways so that I won’t be fully consumed by my worries and fears. Keep me in your arms, Dad, so that I may stop focusing on the temporary things of this world.

You are a God who loves to build great relationships. That’s why I humbly ask for your guidance so that I may learn to become vulnerable to the right people. I pray for your grace so that I may learn to appreciate the people you sent. Heal my wounded heart, Lord, so that the pain will no longer hinder me from connecting to others.

Above all else, please set my eyes on you. Lead me to your heart, Lord. I desire for more of you in my life. May our relationship become my top priority. May your voice and your word become my compass along the journey. May your name be glorified at the end of the day.

This I ask and pray, in Jesus’ name, amen.
