Make others’ Victory Motivate you to Move Forward
Each of us experience storms in our life.We have our own way of achieving success and victories. Some find it in the early years of their lives, while others are still in the constant chase. However, how one defines achievement and success can sometimes be determined when you get there at the top. But it will be your own definition of success that will matter at the end of the day. By this, God gave you your own will and power to drive your decisions in life. It doesn’t mean that you have to always be wise. Instead, you need to have and receive that wisdom that only God can give you. No one in this world is already wise enough to not commit mistakes and take some risks. All of us are still in the process.
Feeling envious of others’ success won’t bring any good in your life. Because their success is not yours. You also have a different story. You can start it by journeying with God. He is the only one who can give you that victory and success that none in this world can. Instead of seeing things through ‘if others can, then you can,’ start seeing it as ‘if God can do it to them. He will also do it to me.’ Remember that He defines victory very differently. It will also be the same in your life. How you will achieve it will be different from theirs. So, see yourself as more significant than the doubts and fears. You are not meant to conquer everything. But some things are only yours to conquer.
You can, however, treat others’ success as motivation. A motivation to learn from them and use them as an instrument to craft your own. Let their stories teach you some of the ways of life. Remember that you can never attain and achieve anything without others’ help. Be honest and receive support, especially those that are freely given. Receive God’s ways and service, may it be in forms through different people in your life. Receiving and asking for help is a way of loving yourself. Because you already accepted that you cannot make it on your own. You are not weak. Knowing and getting yourself is more than just a sign of strength. You are capable of what you are going through because He will never give it to you if you can’t. It is just a matter of unfolding and accepting your situation and having the faith that you will also have your breakthroughs.
God will reveal wonderful things to you in His time. Wait with Him, and you will realize that the process is worth it. Turn envy into motivations and aspirations. That He will be with you every step of the way. Remember that God never runs out of blessings and will not withhold them from any. He is just preparing you to receive His more effective plans for your life. Define your success and victory according to how God will reveal it to you. Let Him show you that even before you desire any, He already showers you with so much. He is already giving you a lot.
