Most of the time, your Feelings Don’t Necessarily Reflect God’s Truth

Yes, your feelings are valid, but never solely rely on what you feel inside. Sometimes, it’s deceiving. Consult God first so that you will know the truth behind your situation. There are so many things that you need to learn first. That’s why you need to change your perspective in life so that you will know how to handle your emotions. You may feel happy or sad, but that doesn’t mean you are living in the truth that God wants you to realize. Sometimes, how you see things matter on what you feel inside. Check your heart first and ask God to teach you how to properly handle your emotions. He alone knows the truth behind what you’ve been going through. Abide in His ways, and He will guide you.

Express what you feel to God, but open your mind for the truth that He wants you to accept. Sometimes, when we are too occupied with our emotions, we unknowingly make decisions that are not reasonable. That’s why it’s very important to surrender what you feel to God first. Pour out everything to Him, and He will replace the burdens in your heart with His love and comfort. He will show you His mighty power as long as you let Him reign inside. Make Him the God of your life and stop following your own emotions.

Listen to God, for He knows who you truly are. There are times when we feel so disappointed, we tend to label ourselves as worthless. When we feel in pain, we think that we are not worthy of love. But what you feel is not who you truly are. God knows your identity, so choose to listen to His voice. You are His beloved and His precious child. You may not feel okay, but that doesn’t mean you are a bad person. It’s just you are growing and that kind of emotions are part of life. All you need to do is to learn how to manage it.

Remember that God’s truth will set you free. Yes, sometimes, it hurts to accept the things that God wants you to do. But all the pain and effort will be worth it one day. His truth will guide you on how to deal with your emotions. He will reveal to you the right thing that you should do. So acknowledge the presence of God in your life, and your emotions will never control you. Instead, God will use them to change you from the inside out.
